About the program

The Game Scoring & Sound Design program is a 2.5-year full-time program that provides you with the skills and experience needed to create, edit, and implement sound in games. You will also develop the ability to compose music suited to various game genres and styles. The program also includes:

  • Modern software for game audio

  • Optimization of hardware and workflow

  • Collaboration with producers and developers

  • Marketing yourself in the industry

  • Strategies to secure jobs as a freelancer or intern

  • Understanding the structure of the game industry

Audio Production Academy is an educational provider supervised by the Swedish Higher Vocational Education Authority and offers two state-funded higher vocational education programs in Swedish.

Our international programs are standalone, fee-based diploma programs. They are not higher vocational education programs and do not lead to a Swedish higher vocational education degree.
